As a perpetuation of the Jamapunji campaign, an educational seminar was held at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology – Islamabad on November 28, 2016. On the first day of the two-day session, Ms. Khalida Habib, Director/HOD IEIRD shed light on the role of SECP while Mr. Zulfiqar Ali from CFA Society Pakistan highlighted the importance of financial planning. Mr. Zahid Latif Khan, Zahid Latif Khan Securities (Pvt.) Ltd articulated about capital markets. The attendees were also apprised about Mutual Funds and VPS and Commodities – PMEX by Mr. Salman Haider Sheikh – CEO, AWT Investments and Mr. Muhammad Irfan – Manager Agri Business and Product Development PMEX respectively.

The second day of the session incorporated topics such as Microfinance, Insurance, Islamic finance, REITs and Company Incorporation by numerous experts including Mr. Mohsin/Ali Basharat Financial analyst, Ms. Samina Khan – Askari Insurance, Mr.  Junaid Ghori – IFD SECP and others.
